Knight & Merchant

Knight and Merchant is a board game for two, in which you will play as the medieval lords against each other. You have two strong supports on either side. One is your knights who protect your land from the enemy, and the other is the merchant who puts money into your pocket. The Ultimate goal of this game is to govern your city and make it thrive in a world of strife. To achieve this goal, you need to promote capable people in the town, train them to become outstanding knights and merchants and use their power to fight against another lord.

End of the Game

This game continues even when you run out of coins because the merchants and citizens will keep making money for you, and you can also get coins rewards from some missions. This game will end at the end of the thirteenth big round, or one player will give up. At the end of the game, players need to calculate their total economic assets, including coins, the cost of building and upgrading all the facilities, and the cost of drawing magic cards; each knight and merchant is worth 20 coins, and each citizen is worth 10 coins. Therefore, please use the scoreboard carefully and do the records for every stage and small round. In the end, the player with more assets wins.

Final Words

I hope that you can consider the strategy of your city development in all directions. I also hope you can pay some learning costs, grow from your experience, and find your unique understanding of the game. I believe that a good game can give players their own unique experience. Although my game has certain competitive and interactive content, the original intention of this game is to bring happiness to players, not just purely competitive competition. Still, I don't want the player to be obsessed with the ultimate winning formula. So, I added some uncertainty to the whole game. I hope you will enjoy this game.
